Alifya Loharchalwala is the Senior Program Officer for India responsible for developing and managing grantee partnerships and other programmatic initiatives in India. In the past, Alifya has worked as a Strategy and Business Consultant at Intellecap Advisory where she managed projects in areas of Healthcare, Livelihoods and Education. In her most recent consulting project at UnLtd India, Alifya worked with Social Entrepreneurs and Impact Investors across India to convene dialogues on Gender Lens Investment and build an Inclusive Entrepreneurial Ecosystem for Women Entrepreneurs.
Over the last decade, Alifya has co-designed Organisation Development and Capacity Building projects in collaboration with leaders from innovative community-based NGOs such as OSCAR Foundation and Kranti in Mumbai.
In 2017, Alifya was awarded the Mica and Ahmet Ertegun Scholarship by the University of Oxford for pursuing a Master’s Degree in Gender and Development.
